About MICHAEL
About Me: Expert English Support
I am a dedicated educator committed to creating structured, supportive, and learner-centered environments. My approach balances clear academic routines with the freedom for students to take risks and experiment with new ideas.
By translating rigorous Australian Curriculum standards into actionable, inquiry-based steps, I empower my students to take ownership of their progress. I believe that when a learning space is both ordered and encouraging, students find the confidence to move past 'getting it right' and start achieving genuine excellence.

Session Structure
1. Orientation – The Cheat Sheet Review
We’ll quickly go over the key points from our last session and set one clear goal for today, so you know exactly what we’re aiming for.
2. Deconstruction – The Deep Dive
I’ll break down a tricky concept—like a theme from your text, a language technique, or an essay skill—into simple, easy-to-understand steps. This will help you feel more confident and show your English teacher what you can do.
3. Consolidation – Guided Practice
We’ll work together on your actual assignment or a practice task, applying what you’ve just learned straight away. You’ll get real-time feedback and support.
4. Synthesis – The Game Plan
At the end, we’ll set your next steps, so you leave with a clear plan for what to focus on before our next session.
This structure is designed to help high school students build skills, gain confidence, and achieve better results in English.
