About Joshitha
I am a friendly, patient and dedicated tutor with a Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Alongside my academic background, I have several years of experience working with children, young people and families in educational and customer-facing environments.
I have supported students through educational activities, STEM learning and academic development, and I understand that every student learns differently. I take the time to build a positive relationship with my students so they feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.
I can support students with English, IELTS preparation, school and university entrance preparation, workplace English, Mathematics and STEM subjects. My academic background allows me to bring a structured and analytical approach to learning, while my experience working with children and families has helped me develop patience, clear communication and the ability to adapt my teaching style.
Whether you are preparing for an important exam, improving your English for work or university, strengthening your Maths skills, or simply looking to become more confident in a subject, I aim to provide lessons that are engaging, well-structured and tailored to your individual goals.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, supportive and personalised to each student's individual needs, learning style and goals. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence step by step.
I begin by understanding the student's current level, strengths and areas that need improvement. I then adapt each lesson accordingly, combining clear explanations with practical examples, guided practice, questions and regular feedback. For exam preparation, I focus on understanding the exam format, developing effective strategies, practising with realistic questions and identifying areas for improvement.
For English lessons, I can support students with IELTS preparation, university and school entrance exams, academic English, conversational English and English for the workplace. I focus on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking, depending on the student's objectives.
I also offer Mathematics and STEM support, drawing on my academic background in Electronics and Communication Engineering and my Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics. I aim to make technical subjects easier to understand by breaking complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and connecting them to practical examples.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged when appropriate, particularly for exam preparation or university-level students.
I have experience working with children and young people across different age groups, including educational and STEM activities, as well as supporting students with learning and development. I also have extensive experience communicating with parents and adapting my approach to individual needs.
My lessons are suitable for school students, GCSE and A-level learners, university applicants, university students, adult learners and professionals who want to improve their English or STEM skills.
My goal is not simply to help students complete a lesson, but to help them become more confident, independent and capable learners.
