About Mieke
I'm a caring and creative person who genuinely enjoys helping people grow and learn. Outside of teaching, I love painting and art because it keeps me patient, imaginative, and detail-focused. I became interested in teaching through years of assisting at my mother's school, where I saw how much confidence children gain when someone believes in them. My goal is to make learning English encouraging, positive, and fun for every student I work with.

Growing up helping at my mother's own school, I gained years of classroom experience teaching reading, grammar, writing, and speaking. I use interactive methods like storytelling, phonics games, role-plays, and creative writing to keep students engaged. My goal is to build confidence, improve understanding, and make English feel natural. Every lesson is structured yet flexible, so children learn at their own pace in a positive, encouraging environment.
