Learning a new language can be one of the most life-changing and challenging experiences, especially when you’re building a new life in a different country. That’s why I’ve designed my teaching method to be practical, encouraging, and tailored entirely to you.
My approach focuses on real-life English—the kind you use every day. Whether you're speaking with coworkers, visiting the doctor, helping your children with school, or just trying to feel more confident at the grocery store, I teach you the language and skills you need to communicate naturally and effectively.
Every lesson is grounded in real situations, with plenty of room for speaking, listening, and cultural insights that help you feel more at home in an English-speaking environment. Each lesson is structured with a balance of guidance and conversation, so you’re always practicing actively. We typically begin with a short warm-up to review what we’ve learned and get into the flow of speaking. Then, we move into a targeted skill or topic—whether it’s grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or practical phrases—always connected to real-life scenarios. Next, we apply what you’ve learned through conversation practice, role-playing, or short interactive tasks. We finish with a brief review, where I share personal feedback and tips for continuing your learning between lessons.
What sets my lessons apart is that I’ve been through this process myself. I moved to the United States nearly 10 years ago and know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to adjust. That experience allows me to teach with empathy, cultural understanding, and a deep appreciation for every student's journey. I also share helpful tips about life in the U.S.—not just the language—so you can feel more confident and informed in your daily life. Most importantly, I create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and learning at your own pace.
My lessons are supportive, flexible, and always personalized to your needs and goals. With the right guidance, learning English doesn’t just open doors—it helps you step through them with confidence. I’d love to be part of your journey.
