About Maggie
Hello!
My name is Maggie, and I’m a native English speaker and bilingual in French from Toronto, Canada. I love meeting people from all over the world and helping them feel confident and comfortable speaking English or French in real-life situations. Whether you want to improve conversation, pronunciation, or professional English or French, I’m here to support you in a friendly, relaxed way.
I’m a passionate traveler who enjoys learning about different cultures, history, and perspectives. I love music, movies, food, art, and meaningful conversations — especially about life, philosophy, and wellness.
I’ve lived and traveled internationally, and I understand how challenging (and exciting!) it can be to communicate in another language. My goal is to make English and French feel useful, natural, and enjoyable, not stressful.

Hi, I’m Maggie, and I believe learning French should feel exciting, practical, and confidence-building — not intimidating.
My teaching approach is centered around real communication from day one. I combine structured grammar foundations with immersive conversation, pronunciation practice, and real-life scenarios so students don’t just learn French — they actually use it. I adapt every lesson to your goals, whether that’s travel, exams, relocation, professional use, or simply building fluency for personal growth.
My Methodology
• Clear explanations of grammar in simple, digestible steps
• Conversation practice in every lesson (even for beginners!)
• Pronunciation coaching to help you sound natural and confident
• Personalized vocabulary based on your interests and goals
• Interactive exercises, role-plays, and real-world examples
I focus on making students feel safe to make mistakes — because that’s how real progress happens.
A Typical Lesson
A session with me usually includes:
A short review of previous material
Introduction of a new concept (grammar, vocabulary, or theme)
Guided practice through structured exercises
Conversation practice applying what you’ve learned
Clear feedback and practical tips for improvement
Each lesson is structured but flexible, depending on your pace and comfort level.
What Sets Me Apart
What makes me different is my balance between structure and natural flow. Many students struggle because they either learn too much grammar without speaking — or speak without understanding structure. I make sure you develop both at the same time, so your progress feels steady and empowering.
I’m patient, encouraging, and highly attentive to individual learning styles. My goal is not just fluency — it’s confidence.
Who My Lessons Are For
• Complete beginners
• Intermediate learners wanting to speak more confidently
• High school or university students
• Adults learning for travel or relocation
• Professionals needing conversational or business French
• Anyone who wants a supportive and motivating learning environment
Whether you’re starting from zero or refining advanced skills, I tailor each lesson to your needs.
I look forward to helping you build strong, natural French step by step.
— Maggie
