About Henry
My teaching approach focuses on making French learning joyful and memorable. I use games, songs, storytelling, and humor to keep lessons fun and engaging. This helps students remember new words and phrases easily. I believe that learning should feel like play, not work. I especially enjoy helping those who want to improve their conversation skills or are new to the language. Through interactive activities, I nurture a genuine love for French. Together, we practice speaking naturally and build confidence step by step. Storytelling and songs bring the language to life, making grammar and vocabulary easier to understand. Humor adds a light touch, so students feel relaxed and motivated. I adapt my lessons to each student’s pace and interests, creating a warm and supportive space to learn. My goal is to help you enjoy French every step of the way, turning challenges into fun experiences. With this approach, you’ll find yourself speaking, understanding, and loving French more than ever before.

I’m a French tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BA in French for Tourism and Hospitality. I specialize in helping high school and university students who find French film analysis and dialogue writing challenging. I love using a creative approach that makes learning both fun and effective. Together, we break down complex cinematic language into simple, easy-to-understand steps. This way, you can grasp film concepts without feeling overwhelmed.
I focus on helping you write with clarity and expression, so your ideas come through powerfully on paper. My passion for French New Wave and contemporary cinema deeply informs my teaching. I also enjoy introducing students to critical theory, making films more accessible and exciting.
Whether it’s analyzing scenes or crafting dialogues, I guide you every step of the way. I believe every film challenge can turn into an opportunity for growth. My goal is to build your confidence and skills, so you enjoy French cinema fully. Let’s turn those tough assignments into cinematic confidence! I’m excited to help you explore the art of French film in a way that truly sticks.
