About Chloe
I've been working in schools as a Chemistry teacher for 20 years and have lots of experience in helping students discover a love for Chemistry, reach their potential and do well in exams. My students tell me I make Chemistry easy to understand and I am passionate about helping students of all abilities to achieve the highest grades possible. I graduated from Oxford University in 2003 and then did my PGCE (Secondary Science with Chemistry) at the Institute of Education in London. I have been working as a qualified science teacher since 2004. I am available to tutor students in Chemistry at KS3, GCSE, A Level or IB and I am familiar with all the major UK exam boards, having been an examiner as well as prepared hundreds of students for exams over the years. I have a lot of experience with UCAS applications and writing personal statements, particularly for Medicine, Chemistry and Biochemistry so that is something I can also help with. My teaching style is relaxed and friendly, I use a mixture of tasks to keep students engaged, as well as lots of focus on exam preparation and exam technique. I'll start by assessing where you are now with your understanding and then come up with a plan to move forward and I will provide regular feedback for both students and parents.

I would like to say Thankyou to Chloe, my daughter has only had 2 lessons in A level chemistry and she feels like she has covered weeks of work she did in school in those two lessons .My daughter feels a lot more confident in chemistry now so I would highly recommend Chloe 5*
I can’t thank Chloe enough for everything she has done to make my daughter feel so much more confident about chemistry. My daughter felt as though she was struggling at school when we began and now isn’t worried at all. Chloe is kind, friendly and flexible. We will be retuning to lessons with her after the summer break. I couldn’t recommend Chloe enough.
