As an Information Technology major and a former Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at George Mason University, my approach to tutoring is built on a foundation of proven teaching methods and a commitment to my students' success. My experience has shown me that complex subjects like Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus become manageable when approached with a clear, logical mindset. I am not just a tutor; I am a dedicated guide who is passionate about empowering students to overcome their academic challenges and build lasting confidence. My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, patience, and a deep understanding of how students learn. I am adept at identifying individual learning styles and tailoring my instruction to ensure that every student grasps a concept fully. Whether it's a foundational principle or an advanced problem, I use a step-by-step method that builds on prior knowledge, making each new lesson feel like a natural progression. This systematic approach is a direct result of my technical background and provides a reliable framework for learning that students can rely on. About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is rooted in the belief that a strong foundation in core concepts is the most effective path to academic success. As an IT major and a former Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at George Mason University, my role as a tutor goes beyond simply providing answers. I am committed to empowering my students to become independent, confident problem-solvers. My experience in a technical field has equipped me with a unique, logical approach to breaking down complex mathematical problems into manageable, intuitive steps, making subjects like Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus accessible to everyone.

A typical lesson is highly interactive and student-focused. We begin with a brief review to ensure previous topics are fully understood before moving on to new material. My goal is to build a solid theoretical foundation using clear explanations and relevant examples. The majority of our time is dedicated to working through practice problems together. I guide my students through the process, encouraging them to think critically and articulate their problem-solving steps. This collaborative method allows me to quickly identify and address any areas of confusion. We conclude each session with a summary of key concepts and a clear plan for independent practice to reinforce learning.

What truly sets me apart as a tutor is my practical, hands-on experience in both teaching and technology. As a UTA, I gained invaluable skills in active listening and adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student.
