My lessons are particularly applicable for students in the K-8 range, but I can also assist in High School grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension. As a mother myself, I am experienced in patience and working at the pace of the student. My lesson plans will be based on the students academic needs and may vary based on proficiency level. For example; reading passages of a book or article together with a quick recap of what was read to test comprehension skills, picking apart words used that the student may not be familiar with and creating ways to remember/use the word in other contexts, and finding adjectives, verbs, nouns, pronouns, etc. in the selected text.
