About Elizabeth

As a tutor, I am here to help you learn and understand whatever topic we are working on. I am not here to judge you and I will never discuss your learning with anyone else unless you expressly ask me to. As a high school teacher, these are things that I live by on a daily basis.

About the lesson

As a high school teacher, I always start by trying to relate the concept we are learning to previously learned topics. In addition I use direct instruction followed by guided examples and working up to independent practice. I am a firm believer in the "I do, we do, you do" teaching philosophy and always try to teach using easy to understand language and examples.
