About Emily
I have been teaching English classes for over seven years to students ranging from middle school age to adults. Currently, I teach English to high school students taking AP and IB courses, including AP English Language. I studied Spanish literature and composition in college and have a Master's in International Business, making me an excellent academic writer. I love the research process and enjoy helping students explore topics such as rhetoric, analysis, academic writing, and research.

At the beginning of each course, I prefer to get to know the student, their academic goals, as well as their academic likes, dislikes, strengths, and weaknesses in order to proved the best, personalized attention possible. This way, each class or course is tailored to that student's specific needs and goals.
