About Ethan
Hey! My name's Ethan and I'm currently 24 years old. I've been teaching ever since I finished high school and have been doing so for over 7 years. I opened my first tuition center at 17 years old. Completed my Degree in Psychology and currently pursuing Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning (Specialized in Mathematics). I've taught Mathematics, Business Studies, and Psychology, in schools and enrichment centers. Due to my young age, I tend to develop strong connections with students. I can relate to them and their struggles! This has helped me a lot throughout my years of teaching because many of my students also see me as a friend rather than strictly just a tutor. Not only do I teach students on school subjects but also about life and the real world :)

My approach to tutoring is anchored in personalized instruction and a commitment to foster a deep understanding of the subject matter. I prioritize understanding of key concepts before diving into complex problems. My lessons are highly interactive, encouraging students to actively participate, ask questions, and engage in problem-solving activities. I also customize learning plans tailored to my students accordingly. Duration for each class lasts about 1-1.5 hours depending on preference. With over 7 years of tutoring experience, I have successfully helped numerous students achieve desirable results in their exams. My lessons are designed for any students aged 11 to 17, currently in primary or secondary school. I specialize in Cambridge Syllabus KS3 to KS4 (IGCSE). All materials and books I provide are free, and fees are to be discussed based on availability/distance :)

Teacher Ethan has been a great teacher to my daughter, have recommended him to my other friend's children as well. My daughter has tried many different teachers but Teacher Ethan is the only one that she can get along with, he really bonds well with the students while also maintaining professionalism when it comes to classes. Highly recommend :)
I had a couple of Mathematic lessons with him and he was able to introduce me interesting and unique methods to solve mathematical problems. He’s friendly and nice which made him more approachable. Would definitely recommend him!
