About Robbie
I am a graduate student, who has majored in English. Just last year I successfully completed my Putonghua (mandarin) Proficiency test. Teaching experience wise I have two years under my belt. The fact that I have passed my degree in English shows I have a good degree of fluency which I use this to my advantage when teaching.

I use a method called IPA which stands for Introduction, Practice, Activation. I start by bringing in the content which will be learned in the particular lesson, this is the introduction stage. Secondly I like to give my student an audio, in which they will have time to practice the vocab given. Finally, activation. This is an exercise where I will let the student use Chinese in a relaxed way by using the vocab learned to interact with me.
