About Jovan

I am a self-employed, senior Tutor offering over 15 years of successful experience in private tutoring of GCSE, A level, IGCSE, and IB students in mathematics, chemistry, and physics. In addition, I worked for several years as a postdoctoral research scientist at Queen Mary University of London and University College London (UCL). At both positions the co-supervision of PhD and MSc students in chemistry was one of my main responsibilities. My main objective is to join a tutoring agency that would allow me to apply my face-to-face and online tutoring expertise.

Jovan is one of my former PhD students. He is one of the most talented physical chemists I have worked with and has not only great skills, but also an extensive theoretical and practical background knowledge in the area. He is particularly hard working and entirely focused on his work. Since graduating he has devoted himself to tutoring. He has approached this with enthusiasm and professionalism to great success. He has a particularly personable manner which not only puts students at ease but also inspires them to do well. I am happy to recommend Jovan without hesitation.

Jovan tutored my son for his A Level maths. He was a wonderful tutor, full not just of knowledge but also great enthusiasm. My son went from someone who struggled with maths to someone who loved the subject — he got an A and went on to study computing at university. I recommended Jovan to our friends with similar aged children doing GCSEs and A Levels, and am very happy to do so here too!
