About Ahmed
I have a background in Applied Mathematics and Math Education and nine years of experience tutoring students one-on-one and in group settings. Over that time, I’ve worked with more than 300 students across a wide range of skill levels and learning styles. I specialize in making math easier to understand rather than simply showing students formulas to memorize. I tutor Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, and general Mathematics, as well as SAT/ACT Math preparation. Whether a student is struggling with the fundamentals, preparing for an important exam, or trying to turn a good grade into a great one, I adapt each session to what they actually need. My goal is for students to leave sessions understanding why something works and feeling more confident solving problems independently.

I keep lessons practical, interactive, and tailored to the student. I break difficult concepts into simpler steps, use relatable examples and analogies, and then work through problems together until the student can confidently solve them independently. I also pay attention to why a student is getting a problem wrong — whether it’s a missing foundation, a misunderstanding of the concept, or simply test-taking strategy — so we can fix the actual issue rather than just memorize a solution.

Ahmed really knows his stuff involving statistics! Got me from a C- to an A
Ahmed was a student of mine. He was an excellent student, motivated, and built his own tutoring platform while in school. He is personable and cares about his students.
Ahmed was extremely adept at explaining the material so I understood. He had patience and a touch of kindness when I was frustrated. He was as accommodating as possible with his busy schedule when I would hit learning bumps and reach out. He is worth more than he charges. Highly recommend him if you are looking for a good tutorI know Ahmed because he taught me Algebra 2 when I was a Junior in High School. Ahmed helped me learn material quickly and was able to break down anything I was having trouble understanding in an easy and logical way. He was also extremely flexible. If I needed help last minute, he would make time in his schedule to help me. Even when I was up studying late and needed help, I would give him a text and he would answer within minute's.
Very easy to communicate with and breaks things down in a way that makes it digestible.
