About Hugo
I am a dedicated Math tutor with 3 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping around 150 students improve their Math skills and achieve their academic goals. My teaching philosophy is centered on building a strong foundation, encouraging problem-solving, and making Math both accessible and enjoyable. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make progress at their own pace. One of my proudest achievements is seeing my students not only pass their exams but also develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for Math. I’m passionate about helping each student succeed, whether it’s through tailored lessons or exam preparation.

My teaching methodology for Math is built around creating an interactive and accountable learning environment. Math can sometimes feel like a set of abstract concepts, so I strive to make it more enjoyable and relatable by using creative teaching techniques. I use real-life examples, puzzles, and interactive activities to show how Math is relevant and exciting in everyday life. Communication is at the core of my teaching. I make sure to explain concepts clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. I encourage students to ask questions, and I provide regular feedback to guide their improvement. My goal is to make Math feel approachable and enjoyable, while also ensuring that students master the skills they need. In addition to Math, I am also equipped to teach related subjects, providing a well-rounded educational experience.
