About Olumide

About Me

I am a passionate and dedicated Mathematics and Physics tutor with a genuine desire to help students discover that these subjects are not as difficult as they may seem. I believe every student has the potential to excel when taught with patience, clarity, and the right teaching approach.

My teaching journey has been driven by a commitment to improving academic performance and building students' confidence. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and helping learners develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Over the years, I have worked with secondary school students of different learning abilities, preparing them for school examinations as well as external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, BECE, and JAMB. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing students overcome their fears, improve their grades, and achieve their academic goals.

I believe education is one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives. That is why I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence.

I have helped students in Public Secondary Schools achieve excellent performance in their feared subjects. I have over 30 years experience in teaching.

Whether you need help strengthening your foundation, preparing for important examinations, or aiming for top grades, I am committed to working with you every step of the way. Together, we will unlock your full academic potential and make learning Mathematics and Physics an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

I am certified and licensed by Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

About the lesson

About the Lesson

Learning Mathematics and Physics should not be about memorizing formulas—it should be about understanding concepts and developing the confidence to solve problems independently. My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and tailored to each learner's individual needs, strengths, and pace.

I begin by assessing each student's current level of understanding, identifying areas of difficulty, and developing a personalized learning plan with clear academic goals. Every lesson builds on previous knowledge, using simple explanations, practical examples, diagrams, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques to make complex topics easy to understand.

I encourage students to ask questions freely and actively participate in lessons. Regular class exercises, assignments, quizzes, and past examination questions help reinforce learning and monitor progress. I also provide constructive feedback and practical examination strategies to improve speed, accuracy, and confidence.

Whether you are preparing for school examinations, WAEC, NECO, BECE, JAMB, or simply want to strengthen your foundation in Mathematics and Physics, I am committed to helping you achieve measurable academic improvement.

My goal is not only to help students pass examinations but also to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and a genuine appreciation for Mathematics and Physics. Together, we will build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed for lasting academic success.

I had the privilege of being taught Physics by Pastor Plumbing Ogunyemi at Keme Balogun College, Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria.
He is a humble, God-fearing, and highly seasoned educator whose passion for teaching and genuine concern for young people have left a lasting impact on many lives. His exceptional leadership, sound pedagogy, and remarkable mentorship skills inspired and guided his students both academically and morally.
Pastor Ogunyemi is compassionate and approachable, yet firmly principled, maintaining high standards of discipline and integrity. His balanced approach to teaching and mentoring earned him the respect and admiration of those under his care.
I can confidently vouch for his character, competence, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He is an outstanding teacher, mentor, and leader whose positive influence continues to be felt by many.
If you'd like, I can also make it sound more formal (for a recommendation), more heartfelt (for a tribute), or shorter (for a social media post).
