About Elpidia
Hello! I'm Dr. Elpidia Juli, and I enjoy helping students learn with confidence and achieve their goals.
I hold a PhD in Sociology and Social Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Mathematics. My academic background, combined with my experience in teaching, tutoring, and research, allows me to support students across different subjects and learning levels.
I believe that learning should be clear, supportive, and stress-free. I adapt my teaching style to each student's needs, explaining concepts step by step and encouraging questions along the way. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and understanding of the subject.
I teach students from secondary school to university level, as well as adult learners who want to improve their knowledge or skills. Whether you need help with Mathematics, Statistics, Research Methods, Academic Writing, or assignment and thesis support, I am here to help.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I look forward to being part of your learning journey!

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe that every learner has unique strengths, learning styles, and challenges. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to suit each student's individual needs, pace, and objectives.
I use a combination of:
Concept-based learning to ensure students understand the underlying principles rather than simply memorizing information.
Step-by-step explanations to build confidence and strengthen foundational knowledge.
Interactive discussions and problem-solving activities to encourage critical thinking and active participation.
Practice exercises and real-world examples to reinforce learning and improve retention.
Regular feedback and progress monitoring to identify areas for improvement and celebrate achievements.
My aim is not only to help students achieve academic success but also to develop their confidence, independent learning skills, and enthusiasm for learning.
Typical Length of a Lesson
Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's age, concentration level, and learning objectives. Longer sessions can be arranged for examination preparation, assignment support, or intensive learning programs.
