About Dermot
I have been teaching English to non-native speakers for 7 years and always found the experience to be challenging and fun. The students know what to expect from me and that is someone who always strives for excellence. It is important for me to build rapport with my students and I am naturally friendly, warm, generous and kind. After assessing the student I will build rapport and encourage them to improve their English speaking by concentrating on pronunciation, comprehension and vocabulary. I set the bar high and coach them to achieve their best performance week on week so a steady improvement can be seen which fosters confidence. This approach guarantees exponential growth in terms of ability to speak English with aplomb. The classes are up to 2 hours depending on the age and preference for all age groups who have a basic grasp of the language.
