What I Offer: I provide online English Language and Literature tuition for students aged 11–18 across KS3–KS4, GCSE, IGCSE and IB Diploma (including the Extended Essay). I also support younger learners aged 9+ with literacy development, offer tailored support for students with additional learning needs and work with international students on EAL. With first-hand insight into assessment standards, I help all learners develop confidence, build strong analytical and effective writing skills.
Tutoring Approach: My lessons are student-focused and highly practical. Whether it’s improving writing skills, preparing for exams, refining essay technique, building literacy confidence or developing English as an additional language, I adapt each session to suit the learner’s needs. I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident, challenged and able to make real progress.
Practical Details: Lessons take place online via Google Meet and Google Docs, making them fully interactive and collaborative. I am available on some weekday evenings, on Mondays during the day and evening, and on most weekends, with flexible time slots. My rate is £55–£70 per hour, depending on level and specific requirements.

Anna has been an incredible support for my daughter, Alex, over the past two and a half years. When Alex first started lessons, her school had little confidence in her ability to sit the IGCSE Literature exam — but with Anna’s guidance, she not only took it but achieved a B (71), and an A (83) in English Language!
Anna’s belief in her, her patience, and her ability to make lessons engaging made all the difference. She has been flexible, reliable, and always encouraging, helping Alex grow in confidence and ability. We are truly grateful for her dedication and professionalism — the results speak for themselves!Super happy with Anna’s tutoring! My son improved from a 3 at midterm to a 6 in his IB English — her guidance and support made all the difference, and we couldn’t have achieved this without her.
Anna has been an excellent tutor for my son as he prepared for his iGCSE English Language exam. When he started, he was predicted to fail, but with Anna’s support and clear, structured lessons, his confidence and skills grew enormously. He went on to achieve a grade 6, which exceeded all expectations. I’d highly recommend Anna to any parent looking for an experienced and encouraging English tutor.
