About Emiliia
Hi! I’d love to help you on your French language journey. I grew up between Ukraine and France and studied in French schools, and I’ve achieved DALF certification. French has always been a big part of my life, not just academically but culturally as well. I’m currently a student at Allegheny College, and my multicultural background has shaped the way I teach. My lessons are interactive and practical — we focus on real communication, pronunciation, and confidence, not just grammar exercises. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your fluency, I tailor each lesson to your level and goals. I also teach cultural context and natural expressions so you can sound more authentic. I’d love to work with you and make learning French both structured and enjoyable!

As a tutor proficient in Ukrainian, French, Russian, and English, my approach is tailored to create an engaging and immersive learning experience.
Teaching Method and Techniques:
My teaching method is communicative and interactive, focusing on practical language skills. I incorporate real-life scenarios, multimedia resources, and cultural elements to make lessons dynamic and relevant. I emphasize the importance of conversational proficiency, grammar, and cultural nuances.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson is structured to balance speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises. Starting with a brief review, we then delve into targeted language skills, utilizing multimedia materials, and concluding with practical applications through discussions or projects. Homework assignments reinforce learning and promote self-study.
What Sets Me Apart:
My unique background of being born in Ukraine, living in France, and achieving proficiency in French (DALF all levels) positions me as a tutor with a rich cultural understanding. This enables me to provide linguistic nuances and cultural insights that go beyond textbooks. I am adaptable and empathetic, tailoring lessons to individual needs.
Who the Lessons Are For:
My tutoring services are designed for individuals of all levels and backgrounds. Whether you are a beginner looking to grasp the basics, an intermediate learner striving for fluency, or an advanced student aiming for mastery, I can customize lessons to meet your specific goals. Classes are open to anyone eager to explore the Ukrainian, French, Russian, or English language and culture.
In summary, my tutoring approach is student-centric, dynamic, and culturally enriched. I aspire to not only impart language skills but also foster a deep appreciation for the cultural contexts that shape language use.
