I am currently employed as a full-time on line teacher at a Federal Government institution, where I specialize in teaching various courses of subject’s math & stat. The work is incredibly rewarding, and now I am eager to extend my teaching expertise into the part time online education. I look forward to having you join my online classes.
Reflecting on the initial days when I transitioned to online teaching, it feels like it happened just yesterday. Initially, I confined my teaching to physical classrooms, but soon I realized the potential of making educational content accessible to learners anytime and anywhere.
In today's educational landscape, student engagement is a paramount consideration. A key strategy is to provide a flexible learning curriculum, incorporating tools such as blogs, websites, and online forums. These platforms not only keep students actively involved but also offer valuable content to enrich their academic journey.
A crucial aspect of my online teaching approach involves fostering a sense of peer collaboration through peer-to-peer help sessions (P2P). This dynamic allows stronger students to support their peers, creating a collaborative learning environment.
My experience with Zoom has been both fascinating and transformative. Zoom provides the flexibility to teach round the clock, whether from home or abroad. This platform grants me the rare luxury of more free time, a precious commodity often elusive for many teachers. However, it's important to strike a balance, as the flexibility can be somewhat addictive, leading to overbooking.
Zoom & Google meet empowers me to structure my work time according to my preferences, allowing me to live my life while enjoying the benefits of being a math & stat teacher. The platform's accessibility knows no bounds, enabling students from anywhere in the world to connect at any hour. This global reach allows for diverse interactions, as students are often eager to schedule lessons at unconventional hours.
