My Approach as an Online Math Tutor
1. Student-Centered Assessment First
Outcome: Lessons become personalized and targeted
2. Structured Lesson Flow
Visual aids (graphs, diagrams, virtual whiteboard)
Real-life examples
Simple language first, then formal math terms
Solve problems together (I do → We do)
Ask guiding questions instead of giving answers immediately
Independent Practice
Use scaffolding approach (step by step approach)
Use of arts to catch students' interest and dispel the fear of math
