About Kitten

Hello! I’m Kitten, a BS Civil Engineering graduate and a Math tutor with 6+ years of tutoring experience. I mainly work with Elementary and High School students, helping them strengthen their Math foundations, develop problem-solving skills, and become more confident learners.

My teaching style is patient, practical, and student-focused. I believe Math becomes much easier when concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to the learner, so I focus on understanding the reasoning behind each solution rather than simply memorizing formulas and steps.

Whether you need help with homework, a challenging topic, exam preparation, or improving your overall Math skills, I aim to create a supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at a comfortable pace.

My goal is to help you not only find the right answer, but understand how and why you got there—so you can approach Math problems with greater confidence and independence.

About the lesson

Each lesson is tailored to your current level and specific goals. We can focus on topics such as fractions, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and word problems, depending on your academic level and needs.

We’ll break down difficult concepts, work through examples together, and use guided practice to develop your problem-solving skills. If you’re having difficulty with a particular lesson or assignment, we can focus on the areas where you need the most support rather than spending time on concepts you already understand.

For exam preparation, lessons can include reviewing key concepts, practicing different types of problems, and working through questions similar to those you may encounter on a test. The pace is flexible, and the goal is always meaningful understanding—not simply getting through as many questions as possible.

By the end of each session, you should have a clearer grasp of the topic and feel more prepared to tackle similar problems on your own.
