About Arathy
I am Arathy, a PhD researcher with expertise in science, physics, math, environmental science, and IT. I am a Civil engineer with an MTech in Remote Sensing and completed a PhD in Atmospheric Science. My tutoring is friendly, personalized, and focused on building confidence, helping students understand concepts clearly and effectively. I also provide career counseling and study skills guidance, supporting students in setting goals, planning their learning, and exploring future pathways. My teaching style is simple, patient and personalised. Every student learns differently, so I adjust each lesson to their pace, confidence and learning style. I focus on building strong basics first, then move to harder/challenging topics so they never feel overwhelmed.
I use clear explanations, real-life examples and guided practice. I break down complex ideas into small, manageable steps and encourage questions to build confidence.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with shorter or longer options. Each class includes a quick revision, a clear explanation of new concepts, practice questions and a brief recap.
I am a PhD researcher with experience in science, maths, physics, environmental science and IT. I have mentored students formally and informally throughout my academic journey.
I also provide career counselling and study skills support, helping students with motivation, planning and future pathways.
