About Guilherme
I hold a Physics teaching degree from the University of São Paulo (USP)/Brasil and I worked as a teacher for more than twenty years there. I moved to London on February 2018 with my wife and daughter and, in order to learn about the English educational system and to improve my English, I am doing the Teaching Assistant course at Elatt ( I have done the level 1 and now I am doing the level 2). I am also volunteering as a Maths tutor there since Octuber 2018.

As a teacher, I like to build the knowledge together with the student. I avoid to just give a ready formula or concept without discussing its origin, explaining how and where they come from. After this, I do some fixation exercises and than, I give some exercises to the student do it by himself.
