About Xiwen
Hi, I’m Xiwen, a Mathematics graduate from Gonzaga University with a strong background in math and science. I have experience tutoring middle school students in subjects including math, physics, and chemistry.
I earned a perfect score in Physics on China's high school entrance examination and also studied competition-level chemistry, which helped me develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts and problem-solving techniques.
I enjoy helping students understand challenging topics in a simple and approachable way. I am patient, friendly, and always happy to answer questions. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their understanding, and feel more comfortable with science.

I offer personalized tutoring in Physics and Chemistry for middle school and high school students, including homework help, exam preparation, and extra practice.
My teaching approach focuses on making difficult concepts easier to understand. Instead of simply memorizing formulas or definitions, I help students understand how things work and why certain methods are used.
During lessons, we can review class materials, work through homework problems, practice important concepts, and prepare for upcoming quizzes or exams. I adjust each lesson based on the student's needs, learning pace, and areas where they need extra support.
Whether you're struggling with a specific topic or just want to improve your grades, I'm happy to help you build a stronger foundation in Physics and Chemistry!
