I have been a primary school teacher for almost 11 years, teaching from Year 1 through to Year 6. I have taught Phonics and early reading and writing, as well as Year 6 Greater Depth (above age related) English and Maths.

My teaching method is a collaborative approach where it is a learning journey together. I tailor my lessons and teaching to the individual child - basing the topics covered on areas of development, whilst also consolidating areas that the child works well at. I like to make teaching fun and interactive, bringing in games and songs where I can to help children to recall information.
