About Charlotte
I first gained a BSc in psychology and then a PGCE in primary education and have been a primary school teacher for 6 years, with experience in every year group from nursery to year 6. Within my career I have received training for and taught children with a variety of special needs so would be happy to tutor a child with additional needs.
I have so far tutored one year 5 girl in maths and English. At the end of her block of lessons she felt much more confident (as was remarked by herself, parents and her class teacher) and more able to recall concepts she had struggled with previously.
I am also a mum of two, so have lots of experience with children. Most importantly, I love teaching and working with young people and truly care about their education and welfare.

You can expect lessons to include a range of practical and written activities geared towards the needs and interests of the pupil. As I get to know my students I can tailor the lessons to each individual.
I will teach to the expectations of the curriculum but using a range of methods, activities and resources that will suit the student.

£25 per hour for the lesson, whether online or in person. £1 per mile for every mile traveled (first 5 miles around Grampound Road will not be charged).
