About Laura
I have worked in education for nearly 15 years at both the community college and K-12 levels. I work with a very diverse student population and currently work with students from Cuba, Peru, Mexico, The Ivory Coast, Sudan, Poland, Saudi Arabia and China. Professionalism is paramount. I have taught beginning English workshops at the college level. I have also taught writing, research writing, grammar and speech at the high school level. I've worked in the corporate world and have owned my own business, so I am keenly aware of American business etiquette and expectations.

I love working with students to help them achieve their learning goals. I have a variety of experiences and education to meet students where they are at and take them where they want to be. Newcomers to English as well as experienced English speakers who want to polish their professional image will equally receive the scaffolded lessons detailed just for them.
