About Serge
Over 40 years of teaching in major universities, I have taught thousands of students and have spent hundreds of hours in one-on-one tutoring sessions. As a result my students earned better grades not just in accounting but in other business courses. Many of my students have taken and passed the CPA examination to become professional accountants. Finally, the foundation I give to my students benefits them throughout their lives as they get exposed to concepts such as loans, insurance, investing in stocks and bonds, financing a business, and managing their private financial affairs.

I am a retired professor of accounting with 40 years of university teaching experience, ranging from undergraduate, to MBA, to doctoral level courses. I teach by explaining basic accounting concepts clearly, illustrating them by examples, and using them to solve accounting problems with students. You cannot learn accounting by reading about it, you have to do it, which means solving realistic problems. My students obtain a solid foundation that makes the study of accounting and other business courses much easier.
