About Kira
Hi, I'm Kira, a Registered Nurse with over eight years of experience working in cardiology and cardiothoracic nursing at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed mentoring graduate nurses, supporting nursing students during clinical placements, and helping others build their knowledge and confidence.
I understand that subjects like anatomy, physiology, and nursing can feel overwhelming, so I focus on making learning approachable, engaging, and practical. My goal is not just to help students pass exams, but to develop a genuine understanding that they can apply in the classroom, on placement, and throughout their careers.
I pride myself on being patient, encouraging, and supportive. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual learning styles and goals. Whether you're a high school student interested in health sciences, a university nursing student, or someone preparing for clinical assessments, I'll work with you to build confidence and achieve your full potential.

My lessons are tailored to each student's learning style, goals and level of experience. As a Registered Nurse with over eight years of clinical experience, I focus on building confidence by breaking complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand concepts using real-world clinical examples where appropriate. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can support high school students studying biology or health, university nursing and health science students, or graduate nurses preparing for exams or clinical placements. My teaching style is patient, encouraging and interactive, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing a deeper understanding of the subject.
