About Desmond
I am an experienced educator with over five years of classroom expertise and a background in Biochemistry, driven by a genuine passion for making complex science accessible and engaging. I chose to teach because I believe that every student has the potential to master even the most challenging topics—like Chemistry, Physics, or Physiology—when those subjects are brought to life through real-world applications and interactive discovery. My goal is not just to help you pass your exams, but to serve as a mentor who guides you through the nuances of your curriculum, builds your confidence, and helps you see the fascinating logic behind the science we study together.

My approach to tutoring is designed to move beyond traditional lecturing by treating each student as an individual with a unique learning style. Drawing on my five years of classroom experience and a robust background in science, I translate complex concepts into relatable, real-world examples, utilizing visual aids and interactive methods to make subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Mathematics feel intuitive rather than overwhelming. Instead of just teaching to pass exams, I focus on building the foundational confidence and critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success; when you work with me, you aren't just covering the curriculum—you are gaining a mentor who is dedicated to turning your academic challenges across all these sciences into your greatest strengths.
