My Teaching Approach:
With a Bachelor's in Computing Science and 3+ years as a software developer, I bring a unique perspective to chemistry tutoring. My passion for the subject, combined with my ability to put myself in students' shoes, helps me explain complex concepts in ways that actually make sense. I remember what it's like to struggle with difficult topics, which makes me a patient and empathetic tutor.
Teaching Method:
I break down chemistry problems like debugging code – systematically and logically. Using visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving, I help students build genuine understanding, not just memorize formulas. Each lesson follows a proven structure: brief review, concept introduction with multiple examples, guided practice where we solve problems together, and independent work with immediate feedback.
What Makes Me Different:
My tech background lets me connect chemistry to modern applications students care about – from battery technology in phones to materials science in electronics. I create a judgment-free environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are learning opportunities. My enthusiasm for chemistry is contagious, turning what many see as a difficult subject into an exciting exploration of how matter works.
Who I Teach:

High school chemistry students (all levels)
College students in introductory chemistry courses
AP Chemistry preparation
Test prep (SAT Chemistry, MCAT chemistry section)
Adult learners and anyone seeking to improve their chemistry understanding

Lessons are customized to your specific goals, whether that's acing exams, building confidence, or simply understanding chemistry better. No matter where you're starting from, we'll work together to achieve your objectives.
