About Vidyul
ABOUT YOU Hey there! I'm a passionate and experienced math tutor with a master's degree in Robotics from a top UK university. I've spent the last 3 years helping students unlock their potential and see the beauty in numbers. My professional background is in controls, where I apply mathematical principles every day to solve real-world problems. I started tutoring because I believe that anyone can excel at math with the right guidance. I love seeing the moment when a difficult concept finally "clicks" for a student. My goal is to make learning fun and stress-free, helping you build confidence and achieve your academic goals. ABOUT YOUR LESSONS My lessons are all about making math click. I use a patient, step-by-step approach to break down complex topics into manageable parts. Instead of just memorizing formulas, we'll focus on understanding the "why" behind each concept through relatable examples and practical applications. A typical lesson with me is interactive and tailored to you. We'll start with a quick review of the previous week's work, tackle new material with plenty of practice problems, and finish with a summary of key takeaways. I'll provide you with personalized exercises to solidify your understanding. My goal is to help you feel confident and ready to tackle any challenge. My lessons are for students of all levels, from those struggling with basic arithmetic to those aiming for top grades in A-Level Calculus. I specialize in teaching a wide range of subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and both Precalculus and Calculus.

As a tutor, my approach is centered on making complex concepts simple and engaging. I believe the best way to learn is by doing, not just listening. My teaching method combines theory with hands-on, project-based learning. I start with a clear explanation of a core concept, followed by a practical example where we code together. This helps you immediately apply what you've learned.
A typical lesson plan
A typical lesson with me follows a clear, structured flow. We'll start with a brief review of the previous session and any questions you have. Then, we'll dive into a new topic with a clear, concise explanation. The bulk of the lesson is spent working on a small, focused coding project or problem that directly relates to the concept. We'll finish with a quick summary of the key takeaways and a small challenge to work on for our next session.
What sets me apart
What sets me apart is my professional experience. Having worked as a software engineer at major tech companies, I don't just teach the "what" but also the "why." I can show you how the concepts you're learning are used in the real world and provide insights that go beyond a textbook. I'm also committed to making learning a positive and encouraging experience, celebrating every small victory along the way.
