Each student learns in their own unique way. Whether that be programmatically, visually, mathematically, formulaically, etc, it is necessary that each students gets lessons tailored to them so that they can best understand the material. I teach anywhere from beginner (elementary/middle school) to college-level programming. My typical lesson plans will involve incremental improvements to code that the student will write, understanding the ins and outs of how each line works.
