About Neil

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and currently work as a software developer with industry experience at Marriott International. Alongside my professional career, I have a strong passion for teaching and come from a family of educators. Over the years, I’ve guided peers and younger students in programming, which has given me a deep understanding of the common challenges learners face.

My teaching style balances professionalism with approachability. I make it a priority that every student leaves each lesson with greater clarity and confidence in the subject. Whether a student is just beginning their journey in programming or preparing for advanced coursework, I provide structured, engaging, and personalized support to help them succeed.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Quick recap of what we learned last time.
Introduction of a new concept (e.g., loops, functions, data structures).
Hands-on coding practice where we write and test code together.
Mini-project or challenge to apply the concept (like building a simple game or solving a real-world problem).
Wrap-up and feedback with practice suggestions to reinforce learning.

What Sets Me Apart
Industry experience: I teach coding the way it’s used in real jobs.
Focus on problem-solving: I help students think like programmers, not just memorize syntax.
Confidence building: I make sure students feel capable and motivated after every lesson.

Who My Lessons Are For
High school students (grades 8–12) who want to learn programming from scratch.
Students preparing for AP Computer Science or advanced programming courses.
STEM-focused learners who want to strengthen coding skills early
