My approach as a tutor is to:
-break down lessons and scaffold skills needed for success for the topic
-lesson plans have the explicit instruction model: I Do (model the skill or strategy), WE DO (we practice together) and YOU DO (the student applies the skill or strategy independently through an engaging game or exit ticket
-As a tutor I have high energy and I love what I do and it is evident when I am teaching
-I am certified in Special Education grades K-6 with my Middle School extension

I've known Nicole for the past nine years, and during that time. I've had the privilege of watching her work her magic in helping children develop and strengthen their reading skills. I've attended several functions where the children showcase what they have learned, and the progress they made was absolutely incredible. Seeing where they started and how far they came was truly inspiring. Nicole is deeply dedicated to her craft and passion time, and effort she puts into helping these children succeed is unmatched
