About Nicola
I am a native British English speaker and have been teaching English to international students of all ages and levels for many years, both in the UK and abroad, mostly at university level, but also in language schools and privately. I have a PGCE in EFL/SL and Modern Languages and a degree in Japanese. I have lived and taught in a number of countries, including China, Japan and most recently Italy. I have taught at Bangor and York Universities, and at present live in North Wales.

I specialise in Academic English, such as essay and dissertation writing and presentation techniques, as well as pronunciation and Cambridge exam preparation. I can also help with business and everyday English. I offer individual or group lessons online using Zoom. Lessons are usually an hour. I supply all materials, though may recommend a textbook, depending on the student's needs.
