About Kate
I have worked as a secondary school teacher for many years and am currently taking some time out to home educate my son. Teaching is something I genuinely love, as I enjoy building positive relationships with students and helping them grow in confidence and achieve their potential. Before teaching in the UK, I taught in both France and Spain, experiences which inspired my passion for languages and different cultures and continue to influence my teaching today.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to the individual. Before we begin, I like to discuss your goals, previous experience, strengths and areas you would like to improve, so that I can create lessons that are personalised to your needs and learning style. Whether you are aiming to boost your confidence, improve your grades, prepare for exams or simply enjoy learning a language, I will create engaging and effective lessons that build on your existing skills and help you make steady progress.
