About Baz

I am a technical instructor, AI researcher, and former business analyst. At UBC, I completed a B.Sc. in Computer Science and graduated first among 153 majors with a 95.5% average. I later returned for an MBA. That combination lets me teach both how technology works and how it is used in practice.

My Diploma in Life Skills Instruction includes formal training in adult education, workshop facilitation, and communication. Since 2017, I have tutored students, taught at the university level, and coached adults pursuing learning and professional goals.

About the lesson

Learn AI and coding by building, testing, and understanding - not by collecting prompts or copying answers.

- Start with your goal: a work task, an app idea, or a computer science topic.
- Learn by doing: use AI tools effectively, improve prompts, check results critically, and build or debug simple code with AI.
- Understand the why: clear explanations and targeted practice help the skills stick.
- Leave with next steps: each lesson ends with useful practice or a concrete project direction.

Lessons are for adults, college and university students, and high-school students. Lessons are customized to your goals, prior experience, and pace. We work directly with your prompts, code, or course material.

For assignments and exams, I will help you understand the material and develop your own approach; I will not complete work or provide answers.
