About Hannah
I’m a 28-year-old trained primary school teacher with a Master of Teaching and Learning (MTchLng) from the University of Otago. With a passion for education, I strive to create engaging and supportive learning environments for all my students. Outside of teaching, I enjoy gaming, music, and horse riding—activities that help me relax and unwind a bit. I’m always looking for new ways to keep things fun and dynamic for both myself and my students so I like to adapt interests into learning - did you know Lego combines with math and makes fun!? I have several years of teaching and tutoring under my belt but this doesn't mean I'm done learning, I love to find new ways of working with young people to find what works for them.

I offer personalized tutoring in English, Math, ESL, Special Needs support, and Reading. I have experience in primary and secondary teaching as well as adults - I am available for all age levels! My approach focuses on building foundational skills, boosting confidence, and providing tailored strategies to meet each student’s needs. Whether it's improving grammar, solving math problems, mastering English as a second language, supporting special needs students, or enhancing reading skills, I create an engaging and supportive environment for all learners. Together, we'll set clear goals and work at a pace that suits you, ensuring progress and success. I will generally work online via Zoom but can be flexible with this in Dunedin area. Lessons can be between 30-60mins depending on needs.
