I was teaching as a TA for German in highschool, and a Chess teacher recently as a job. I was teaching kids k-8, including skill ranges from beginners to more advanced students. this included full size classes, and individual lessons.
I went to Los Medanos College, and I completed the Recording Arts program. I am getting my associates degree soon, but I have my Certified Audio Engineer Credential.

I always do my best to get to know them personally, so as to cater the lesson to their needs and skills, rather than from a basic textbook scan from chapter 1 to the end.
Being able to get more knowledge across by learning what your student already knows or doesn't know helps speed up the process and allows for more discussion on subjects that need them.
I've worked with students of all ages. Ranging from Kindergarten to senior adults.
Don't get overwhelmed to the point of quitting. There is too many things to know it all, and you will never bhe the best at everything. The best thing you can do for your improvement as an aspiring music production professional, is to take it slow and break it down. Get all the skills and knowledge you need BEFORE money is on the line, and before you need to make your best impression.
I recently went to the Disciple Tour Show in San Francisco, and it was absolutely amazing! the soundsystem was great,and all the engineers and artists were using Ableton, Traktor, Serato, and Resolume. All things I am familiar with and how they link and interconnect, as well as teach.
