About Badri
I started teaching after scoring a 1540 and realizing that I had a gift for sharing my experiences in improving my scores, especially for both math sections. I have taught several of my friends and other high schoolers at my local library during my junior and senior years of high school.
After studying for the SAT for years (since the 8th grade), I have an extremely comprehensive experience with the exam and its questions. In my first attempt, I was able to score a 1460 and on the second, I raised that to a 1540 (99th percentile). After this, I felt very confident in my abilities to share my knowledge and experiences in mastering the SAT. So, I decided to start tutoring my friends and other students at my local library.

First, I would want to connect with the student to identify their weak areas based on their current baseline score. Then, I would work my best to set a realistic and achievable goal in the specified time period they have to study. Depending on a student's goals and areas they need to work on, I would suggest narrowing their focus into a specific section of the exam first before tackling other sections. Then, I would start to actually tutor by giving them passages and explain how to solve difficult questions in a quick and efficient manner, as well as providing many useful tips and tricks along the way. Lastly, I would definitely strongly encourage them to further their progress by giving relevant homework and practice exams.
I've worked with several of my friends and other students in high school and helped them improve their scores, especially in the math sections to near perfect.
Take practice tests consistently and rigorously overanalyze your mistakes. Learning what mistakes you did and constantly practicing in that area is the most important aspect of improving your score.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
First, determine your baseline score and future goals. You need to understand where you are currently at and how much you want to improve.
Second, if possible, it would be great for students to understand what sections they need improvement in.
Third, the student should have a plan on studying a certain number of hours every week to improve their scores. (Although, I can help with this if necessary.
