About Claire
I offer instruction in mic technique, commercial, audiobook and character delivery, enunciation, intonation and breath control.
My favorite part about the work I do is helping enhance a project with my skills. I love the process of collaborating on projects where I can help clients reach out to their audience. I want to help students discover their unique brand on their voice that helps them enhance what they can bring to the table when working on their own or client projects.
I have worked on improv training with children's theater, schools and running workshops and seminars for high school and college.

Find out what they're goals are, and decide if I am the right fit as a teacher. Have them read through a script with me, trying a few different exercises to find out where they are at in their artist's journey.
I have worked with middle schoolers, high schoolers and college students teaching acting and improv!
Make sure that you work with someone who listens to you and is empathetic to your concerns and goals. If there is a concept you are not understanding, you want to know that teacher will do everything they can to communicate their point in an effective way for you.
As an improv and acting teacher, watching my students begin coming up with their own material, make independent artistic choices within a script, and use the principles I taught them to develop a style all their own is the most rewarding.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your goals? Do you want to quit your job and get on your feet independently? Do you want to work with an agent? Do you want to work on video games, commercials, as a phone IVR voice? Do you want to just learn how to control your breath properly on a mic to sound natural? Where are you in your process?

Details
I charge $50/hour and $25 for 30 minute lessons. I will warmup with the students, and work with them on the scripts that I think will help them develop. These can vary depending on their goals.
