About Stephen

See both my academic background including a Ph.D. In Dramatic Literature, Tenure at Queens College in NYC, and teaching experience at UCLA and USC, as well as former Dean of Columbia College Film School in LA. I recur on SUITS as "Professor Henry Gerard " opposite my son, Gabriel Macht, "Harvey Specter."
What's your 'nugget' and how do you apply that to any role you audition for or play in all mediums?! That's a methodology I teach.
In 1968 I completed my Ph.D. At Indiana Universitu and wrote my dissertation on the History of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art" after having studied there. I taught acting at Smith College for 2 years and at Wueens Collegebin NYC. I starred in all the male lead roles at the Canadian Shakespeare Festival in 1975, was scouted by Universal Puctures and have been starring on stage , in tv and motion pictures since then.
