About Melanie
I know how it can feel to be new to such a massive yetvinfluetial business. There are a lot of mistakes that actors just starting out make. I am here to enlighten them before they fall, or here to pick them up after they've already made the error, and redirect them.
I work on building your confidence first, because in order to use your instrument properly, YOU have to get out the way. I help new actors to realize why they are here. Both are in the scene and in discovering their purpose.
I teach techniques necessary for the auditioning process, so that they can begin booking those jobs they are auditioning for!
If you've been looking for a support system in this business, I'm here to help you.
I find it very gratifying to see the look on my students' faces, when they have realized the power they have as an actor. When they finally connect and realize they don't have to pretend to connect, those are the most amazing moments. Those are moments where I see them come alive, and it really is amazing to watch.
