About
Dear Actors,
My name is Mingjie Zhai, a SAG Actor Meisner Trained Graduate at Barron Brown Studios in Los Angeles who, in my first two years of acting, booked 16 lead roles in indie films, many from reputable film schools like USC, UCLA, LMU, NYFA, and Chapman University, through routine, rigor, and technique.
I have a Masters degree in Secondary Education, over 13 years of teaching experience, and became a working actor with a manager, an agent, with a strong resume, reel, and high performing booking ratio within my first three years of acting.
Since the start of this career, I treated this profession with respect and humility, knowing that it’s a craft I absolutely adore because of its transformative properties, both for the audience and for myself. I love sharing this craft to empower others because I know how much the craft transformed me.
In 2026, I am procuring union jobs for union actors and coaching, mentoring, and training non-union green and emerging actors inside Lucky 13 Management.
