I took a scene study class with Michael Matthys and found him to be a wonderful instructor and coach who cares deeply about helping his students develop their craft. As a class, we were applying what we learned in Seven Pillars acting to our assigned scenes. As we worked through each of the pillars: contact, circumstances, meaning, emotional life, actions, objectives, and physical life. Michael's instruction helped us discover deeper insights into our characters so that we could transform with ease and authenticity.
