About George
In acting classes I have taken, my fellow students and teachers found me to be very helpful in my critique and advice. I have been a substitute teacher for a teacher of mine at Point Park University.
I have thirty odd years of stage experience. I trained at Trinity Rep Conservatory in Rhode Island. I've taken acting classes at Harvard University, and at several casting directors in several states. My focus is on acting for stage, but I do have knowledge of film acting. I am not well versed in musical theater.

Acting is a very idiosyncratic skill. There are general rules of thumb but mostly acting is what works. I tailor my advice and critiques to whoever I am teaching. I share my ideas about what constitutes good acting and offer technical, practical things to do that would help achieve that. I tend to eschew more esoteric concepts and try to approach acting with a view to making it doable.
Mostly young adults, adult beginner, and intermediate students.
